We are currently hiring for the role of Engineer Embedded Software & Firmware at our Ahmedabad, India location. This is a full-time, permanent position starting from August 1, 2025, and is part of our Research & Development family.

🌟 About the Role

As an Embedded Software & Firmware Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in testing and validating Java Card OS features for payment and eID applications based on the Global Platform (GP) and Java Card specifications. You’ll be a part of a team driving digitalization and security—two of the most pressing needs of today's connected world.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand and interpret technical specifications to define test scenarios

2. Develop test suites and reusable libraries for Java Card and GP compliance

3. Design, automate, and execute tests

4. Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed failure reports

5. Review verification reports and collaborate across teams

6. Assist in effort estimation and risk identification for project planning

7. Keep up with evolving technologies and share knowledge within the team

👤 Who We’re Looking For

You’re best suited for this role if you:

1. Have a strong foundation in OOPs (Java/C#/C++)

2. Are familiar with software testing methodologies

3. Have experience in scripting languages like Python or Bash

4. Understand formal software test design techniques such as:

   1. Boundary value analysis

   2. State transitions

   3. Equivalence partitioning

5. Can adapt quickly and are a sharp problem solver

6. Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies and Java Card standards is a bonus!
