As a Service Desk Analyst at HCL, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical support queries. Your main responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, ranging from software and hardware problems to user access and network issues. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of IT systems and delivering high-quality customer support.
๐ฏ Key Responsibilities
๐ฅ️ Technical Support:
Provide first-level technical support on hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Address user queries via phone, email, or ticketing systems.

Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and user access issues (e.g., password resets).
๐ Incident Management:
Log and prioritize incidents and service requests.

Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate second-line support team.

Monitor open tickets and update users on the resolution status.
⚙️ Software & Hardware Installation:
Install and configure software, applications, and hardware.

Help with onboarding by setting up new users’ workstations and accounts.

Create detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and common troubleshooting steps.

Provide self-help resources like FAQs for end-users.
